Group Mentoring for Coaches

Instructor: Laurie Dupar, PMHNP, RN, PCC, CPCC
Date: 12 weeks, 90- minute sessions.
Previous coach training is required but previous ADHD coach training is not required. This course is approved by the ICF for 15 CCE credits. This training fulfills part of the coach training requirement for professional membership in the ACO.

Description: Join Certified Mentor Coach, Laurie Dupar, PMHNP, RN, PCC, CPCC, for this 12 week group coach mentoring course. Earn 8 ICF coach mentoring hours, 15 ICF CCE’s, strengthen your coaching skills, enjoy the community of other coaches and be positioned to pass credentialing exams with confidence! Each hour and a half will focus on mastering the coaching competencies, and include live coaching between participants and valuable feedback from to enhance the learning process. This webinar course is designed for coaches pursuing a credentialing program and is limited to eight participants.

Framing the ADHD Experience Before One-on-One Coaching Begins

Date: 6 weeks, 120-minute sessions.
Previous coach training is required but previous ADHD coach training is not required. This ACO sponsored ACCE course is approved by the ICF for 12 CCE credits. This training fulfills part of the coach training requirement for professional membership in the ACO.

Description: This program will teach participants how to create a solid framework with their ADHD clients to strengthen their client-coach relationships for more successful coaching experiences. This course will be interesting to any coach, but especially compelling for those interested in ADHD. Each participant will receive a copy of the KORS (Kubik Outcome Rating Scale) instrument at no additional cost.

Coaching Teens & College Students with ADHD

Instructor: Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, MCC, SCAC
Date: 15 weeks, 120- minute sessions. Classes available for trained coaches and novices. Previous coach training is required but previous ADHD coach training is not required. There is a fee for this class. This training fulfills part of the coach training requirement for professional membership in the ACO. This training is pre-approved (or accredited) by ICF for 30 hours of CCEUs

Description: Join expert coach and coach trainer, Loretta Spindel, JD, PCC to sharpen your skills! The purpose of the Group Coach Mentoring calls is to focus on coach/client issues that are directly related to the coaching process. Your mentor coach will act as a facilitator, as well as, provide support and strategies. All participants of the group are encouraged to share their experience and provide suggestions as well. Description: This 6 hour teleclass will teach coaches how to shift the coaching process for success with children ages 8 to 12 and how to effectively include parents into the coaching process. Participants will learn about tools for accountability and structure. Handouts for use at home and in the classroom will be provided. Role-playing will be a part of this course to give coaches a hands-on grasp of the process.

Coach Approach for Organizers

Date: 8 weeks at 90 minutes per session for Coaching Essentials, our basic coaching skills training course. This class is offered 3 times a year. Description: This is general (life) and ADD Coach training for experienced professional organizers. Coaching Essentials is a stand-alone course in basic coaching. This course is also the pre-requisite training to enter into our foundation program. The four foundation telecourses (Strengths-Based Coaching, Brain-Based Coaching, Life & ADHD Coaching, and Organizer Coach Integration) encompass 21 weeks of training (fall through spring with 2-5 week breaks between courses) and leads to graduation. Coach Approach courses are intensive and accountable, requiring brief readings, forum posts and participation in small skills building groups. The seminar-style graduate course, Organizer Coach Practicum, leads to credentialing as a Certified Organizer Coach®. It all starts with the basic, stand-alone course, Coaching Essentials, which will, alone, provide a clear understanding and experience of 19 coaching skills which can be used with organizing clients immediately.
