Ongoing Training

Coaching Teens & College Students with ADHD

Instructor: Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, MCC, SCAC
Date: 15 weeks, 120- minute sessions. Classes available for trained coaches and novices. Previous coach training is required but previous ADHD coach training is not required. There is a fee for this class. This training fulfills part of the coach training requirement for professional membership in the ACO. This training is pre-approved (or accredited) by ICF for 30 hours of CCEUs

Description: This course is the first to focus on coaching teens & college students with ADHD. ICF and IAAC core competencies are covered. This is an informative AND interactive training program designed to provide coaching strategies, hands-on practice and business building ideas to get you started with your new client base with confidence and expertise!

Group Mentoring for
Coaches Working with Youth, ages 12-25

Date: 6 one-hour sessions. Previous coach training and ADHD coach training is required. There is a fee for this class.

Description: Join expert coach and coach trainer, Loretta Spindel, JD, PCC to sharpen your skills! The purpose of the Group Coach Mentoring calls is to focus on coach/client issues that are directly related to the coaching process. Your mentor coach will act as a facilitator, as well as, provide support and strategies. All participants of the group are encouraged to share their experience and provide suggestions as well. This is an interactive, discussion based class where we can all share and learn from each other how to better serve our clients. Groups limited to 10 coaches. Two times/days available

Coaching Children with AD/HD – Ages 8 -12

Date: Previous coach training and ADHD coach training is prefered. There is a fee for this class.

Discount for graduates of the JST Coaching Course, Coaching Teens & College Students with AD/HD or The Edge Foundation Coach Training. This training fulfills part of the coach training requirement for professional membership in the ACO.

Description: This 6 hour teleclass will teach coaches how to shift the coaching process for success with children ages 8 to 12 and how to effectively include parents into the coaching process. Participants will learn about tools for accountability and structure. Handouts for use at home and in the classroom will be provided. Role-playing will be a part of this course to give coaches a hands-on grasp of the process.

Coach Approach for Organizers

Instructor: Denslow Brown, MCC
Date: 7 weeks at 90 minutes per session for beginning CS I. This class is offered 3 times a year. For more information see the class description below or check the web. No previous coach training is required. This class is for experienced professional organizers. There is a fee for this class.

Description: This is general and ADD Coach training for experienced professional organizers. It includes 4 foundation courses (total 27 90-min teleclasses) and an advanced class and leads (with significant other requirements) to a credentialing as a Certified Organizer Coach. It starts with a basic, stand-alone course (7 weeks, teleclass): Coaching Skills I (CS I)
