Current research shows a clear connection between ADHD, obesity, and eating disorders. Adults with ADHD face a 60-80% greater likelihood of being overweight and/or obese. Thirty percent of ADDers have Type 2 diabetes. Barbara Luther successfully dropped over 90 pounds in 13 months and will discuss ADHD brain wiring and executive function as it relates to weight issues. Barbara shares her experience as well as current research information from which to identify tools and strategies to support our clients in successfully managing their weight and eating.
