Professional membership is $120 per year. Associate membership is just $60 per year. If you’re not sure about the difference, read about it here.
Renewing your membership is easy, just log into the members area of the site (or click here) and then choose the right button to renew as a professional or as an associate member. (Click the image at the right for a larger view of the member dashboard.)
If you can’t remember your login and password, just put your email address in the box at the bottom of the login page. BOTH your login and password will be emailed to you.
Please remember CAPITALS COUNT. Some people have been having to log in twice—once to the site and then again because of browser conditions. If your log in works once and then not the second time, check those capitals! The first log in seems to be more forgiving and the second is not.
But if you’re still having trouble, please contact the webmaster.
If you joined in November, you’re good thru January 1, 2011.
If you think you paid sometime in the last year and therefore figure you’re good til sometime next year… well, you’d be wrong. Way back in 2006, the board decided to collect all dues at one time.
New members pay dues on a quarterly prorated basis with the renewal date January 1, 2010. If you joined in the first quarter of 2009, your fee was the full $120 for professionals or $60 for associates. If you renewed second quarter, you paid just $90 or $45. If you joined in the third quarter, then you paid for only the second half of the year, etc.
P.S. When you log in, just under the Membership Control Panel shown at the top of this post, you’ll find a line that says when your membership expires. If it doesn’t say January 1, 2011 then it’s time to pay.
We don’t want to lose you!
