During the conference, the ACO Programs Committee announced their exciting new plans for the coming year in support of our members and their ongoing professional development needs.
The ACO Case Collaboration sessions have been held monthly since August 2015, and will continue to meet the third Wednesday of each month from 12 noon to 1 pm ET. During this hour participants share, review, and discuss client cases to collaborate on coaching approaches for their ADHD clients. Up next for June, the theme will be Helping Our Clients Address Shame and Blame. All participants have the opportunity to earn 1 ICF CCEU when they provide the opening and closing word for the session in a follow-up email. Sign up for these opportunities on the ACO Programs Page.
At the start of June, ACO Programs launches a 3 month pilot of the ACO Coach Exchange. This is an opportunity to be matched with other coaches to coach and be coached. The exchange will offer participants a chance to practice skills, build on relationships and create recordings for the certification process. Over 30 coaches signed up for the pilot. If you missed the initial sign up, you are still welcome to contact Programs@ADHDcoaches.org and get on the waiting list and possibly serve as an alternate.
More new developments will come your way in the fall, including a certification support group, workshops focused on research, coaching skills, and business development – all with CEU’s. Watch for updates in future Circle articles and on the Program’s News Page of the website to be in the know!
We are looking forward to a robust new year and having you join us in upcoming Programs
