ADHD AWARENESS MONTH
Volunteer members from ACO, ADDA and CHADD are working together to bring positive attention to ADHD leading up to October’s ADHD Awareness Month. This year’s theme is “Knowing is Better: ADHD through the Lifespan.”
As part of 2017’s ADHD Awareness Month, the Coalition will be holding a video contest asking people to share in a one-to-two minute video their best tips for managing ADHD.
Prizes will be awarded to winners in each of three categories:
• family (for children/adolescents with ADHD and parents of children/adolescents with ADHD)
• adults (of all ages living with ADHD)
• professionals (coaches, counselors, teachers, doctors and others who work with children or adults with ADHD)
Stay tuned for more information about the video contest’s rules, submission guidelines, and timelines. Check the website, www.ADHDAwarenessMonth.org, for updated information.
