With the conclusion of our 7th Annual International ADHD Coaches Conference–Connections 2014: Phoenix, AZ–there is much to celebrate.

First, would be the high caliber of programming. As ADHD coaches and professionals serving the ADHD community, we come with the intent to learn from others and take away new insights, direction, and energy into our practices moving forward. This year’s conference kicked off with the ADHD Coaches World Café, sponsored by the ACO Board, which was rich with conversation, collaboration, and inspiration for the future of the ACO. You could feel the energy continue from that moment on throughout two fabulous preconference sessions, two inspiring keynotes, 33 relevant and well done breakout presentations, and the closing celebration full of prizes, fun, and heartfelt reflections on the conference experience. For those who were not able to make it to Connections 2014, you can order the video recordings for the conference, complete with audio and power point, here.

Next on the list of celebration is the connection and fun we had with one another, old friends and new. There were plenty of opportunities: at the Thursday night receptions and Friday night’s poolside dinner, networking reception, and sponsor appreciation night. We were blessed with a fabulous band, complete with vocals, keyboard, and the beat of a steel drum, and some lively dancing too. Many were able to add in a night out on the town, a tour of local sites, or even a shopping expedition as well.

We celebrate a job well done by the staff at our hotel, who went out of their way to please with great food, rooms, and service. And we are delighted to be returning to the same venue for our next conference which well be held April 30th-May 4th, 2015, where we will continue our celebration as the ACO reaches a major milestone: its 10th anniversary! So mark your calendars. We hope to see you then!

And finally, we celebrate the contributions of the many who made Connections 2014 happen! The conference could not have be successful without the dedication, generosity, and support of the ACO Board, ACO Leadership Team, Committee Co-Leads, Sponsors, Speakers, Volunteers, Exhibitors and the attendees who chose to be there to make Connections 2014 happen. We are most grateful to you!

Here is to the success of the Connections 2014 Conference and to your continued success in the coming year!
