Here’s a cheat sheet on the different ways of getting/receiving information on ACO matters:
ACO phone: Voice: (888) 638-3999 / Fax: (410) 630-6991 You will be greeted by a recorded message and have an opportunity to leave a message. Our VA routinely checks and forwards the message to the appropriate person who can answer your question.
A live person: If you are a member, you can reach out to our President and Board Committee Chairs and other fellow members by calling them directly. You’ll have to first log in as a member in order for the membership directory to be available to you, then click on CONNECT and then Membership Directory . Here’s the direct link – https://www.adhdcoaches.org/membership-directory/ .
Email: Whether you are a member or not, connecting through email is easy. From the home page, hover your cursor over the ABOUT ACO tab and select the appropriate group from the dropdown box. Click on the “Email link” to start an email message to that department/function. It gets routed directly to that person’s business email address.
Circle Newsletter – CIRCLE is a newsletter of the ADHD Coaches Organization for ADHD Coaches, by ADHD Coaches, and about ADHD Coaching with over 783 subscribers. It is published on the 1st Monday of every month as an eNewsletter with links to full articles on the web. It keeps readers up to date with the latest information about ADHD and coaching and offers other information of interest, including business and practice information, an events calendar, and more. Let this information come to you by subscribing today!
Yahoo! Groups – For a super easy way of sending/receiving email messages to the whole group – utilize the ADHD Coaches Group through Yahoo! Groups (restricted group – 237 members). Tap into the collective wisdom for answers to your ADHD coaching questions, seeking professional resources/referrals for an out-of-state client, etc. To join the group – send an email request to our VA at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will email you the appropriate links/information to join.
Facebook – Three Facebook Groups associated with the ACO are available:
ADHD Coaches Organization page (3,004 likes) – postings of upcoming events, programs, announcements.
ACO 2016 Conference page (147 Members) – this is the place to get up-to-minute conference info and buzz about who’s coming, program/schedule, what’s hot in the Reston, VA area!
ADHD Coaching Technology page – We partnered with ACO member Jonathan Salem who created this page – this is a closed/secret group in order to maintain non-marketing/non-spam intentions (solid/helpful info found here for sure!) Jonathan is looking for more active members at this time – per Jonathan’s instructions, “private message me on FB, and please include a link to your website or use any other method of confirming you are an ADHD Coach. As a group with “secret” status, it can only be joined by contacting me privately. This is a forum for ADHD Coaches, where technology, as it relates to ADHD coaching and practice management, can be discussed.”
LinkedIn – another platform to go to for learning about upcoming ACO events, programs, and announcements.
Twitter – @ADHDcoaches – 3,366 followers. Receive tweets on upcoming events, programs, and announcements.
