The Tale of the Mislaid Hotel

My bags aren’t packed but I’m ready to go to Chicago for the 2010 ACO conference “Raising the Bar”. I am honestly excited and delighted and eager to share stories, hear speakers, take notes, meet new and old friends, maybe see a little of Chicago, read, eat, talk and dream about ADHD Coaching. It doesn’t take much to get me excited.

I attended my first ADHD conference in St. Louis many years ago. I was nervous and excited and less focused than I am now. After arriving at the hotel I commenced to try to convince the concierge that they were hosting a huge ADHD conference but they had merely mislaid the information. Needless to say, I was at the wrong hotel.

My attention skills have increased a little bit and I have my laptop with me at all times now to refer to for hotel names and registrations. So this year when I forget/lose my key and have to replace it I’ll smile a little bit tired but happy knowing I’m with people who understand.

Can’t wait to meet you.
