Focus on Global Awareness Makes a Difference to Your Coaching

Coming to Your City Soon: October 14-20, 2012

Did you know that ACO has our very own Global ADHD Awareness Week?

It is one of the member benefits of ACO. Our international team – all ACO members – meets regularly to come up with tools coaches can use to setup an ADHD Awareness Week event wherever they live in the world.

Our new focus on global awareness reflects our mission to support coaches around the world to provide information and awareness about ADHD. We are different from the national coalition which is made up of representatives from ACO, CHADD, ADDA, NRC and Additude Magazine with the focus on ADHD Awareness in the USA.
To support this effort and to support our members, beginning in July, coaches will have the opportunity to participate in a 2-part workshop: How to Set Up an Awareness Program in Your City.

As good role models, we will use these virtual workshops to provide structure and accountability as you create your own event. We will keep you posted as ACO’s Global Team rolls out new information for ADHD Awareness Week, October 14-20, 2012.
The theme is “The Many Faces of ADHD”. For now, know that our international team is working for you. You can also check www.adhdawarenessweek.org.
