UPDATE (October 2014): The IAAC has been formally dissolved as an organization. For information on ADHD Coach Certification, click here.
The Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching (IAAC) is pleased to announce that coach credentialing will officially launch by March 31, 2009. Over the last year extensive work has been done to ensure that the credentialing process is a robust and productive experience for coaches seeking to become a credentialed ADHD Coach.
The IAAC defines ADHD coaching as a designed partnership that combines coaching skills with knowledge of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, a neurological condition. The primary role of IAAC is to serve as the global credentialing body for ADHD coaches who wish to establish their professional standing in the ADHD community.
The IAAC will offer three credentials to coaches:
Level 1: Associate Certified AD/HD Coach (ACAC)
Level 2: Certified AD/HD Coach (CAC)
Level 3: Senior Certified AD/HD Coach (SCAC)
For more details about the credentialing process, continue reading here.
We encourage coaches wishing to become part of a community of ADHD coaches who will be sought after for their prestige and credibility to become members and pursue the level of credential that meets their expertise and knowledge.
Please contact IAAC at www.adhdcoachinstitute.org if you have questions or if you require additional information.
