Happy New Year from ACO Programs
As you make your plans for professional development in the new year, keep in mind the opportunities that are provided as part of your membership with the ACO.
o Monthly ACO Case Collaborations. Free as part of your membership. We meet virtually from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm the third Wednesday of each month. The cases provided are centered on a particular theme. Plus, you earn a CCEU for participating. Check out what’s coming up on the Programs Page of our ACO Website.
o ACO Coach Exchange will start up its next round the first week in February. If you wish to participate, you agree to coach and to be coached by another with 45 minute sessions during a 6 week period. There is a $75 fee to participate and being a part of the ACO Coach Exchange is for members only. Many have used the ACO Coach Exchange to record a coaching session for their coaches certification.
o ACO Certification Support Group continues to meet twice monthly through March 2017. We have a great group and are supporting one another with taking next steps to finish the certification process for ICF or PAAC. Participation is free and exclusive to members of ACO. If you missed out you can still join in up until February 1st. After that you will need to wait until May to join a new group for your support. Send an email if you would like to join us.
What would you like to experience or to contribute with programming through ACO? The best way to make the most of your membership experience is to tell us what you need or, better yet, get involved.
o Please Tell Us What You Need – Yes it is a survey, but fairly quick to do. If you have not already, please click here and share with us your wish list with professional development in the new year.
o Join our Crew! If you have a passion for professional development in ADHD Coaching, we would love to have you join the Programs Committee. There are a lot of fun opportunities in the coming year and we need more help. Whether you just want to be involved in a project, or you would like a leading role, your contribution is greatly appreciated. Please send an e-mail to us and let us know.
