Last month in this column I bid adieu to two dedicated and long-time board members, Glen Hogard and Ken Zaretzky. This month I want to introduce you to our two new board members, Gayla Wilson and Diane Ladd.
Gayla lives near Boise, Idaho a the foot of the spectacular Saw Tooth Mountains with her husband, Bob, and two dachshunds, Vincent van Gogh and Leonardo da Vinci. She is a graduate of ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and has specialized training with Jodi Sleeper-Triplett focusing on Coaching Teens and College Students with ADHD. She is also heavily involved in her local CHADD chapter and the Parent-to-Parent program.
Gayla has had several careers and as the sole proprietor for most of her ventures, she has always been responsible for all marketing and generation of public awareness of her services. Basically from the moment she opened her ADHD coaching business in Idaho, she has had had a full practice.
As Chair of Marketing and Public Relations, Gayla is on the look-out for advertising and marketing opportunities that will promote the ACO to more ADHD coaches, to other professionals, and to the general public.
Diane lives in Andover, Massachusetts with her husband, three sons, and one dog. She is a Coaches Training Institute (CTI) graduate who also trained under and worked for Dr. Ned Hallowell. Additionally, she is a Reiki Master and a Personal Fitness Trainer with over 15 years experience in that field. In her past life she worked with her mother as an Assistant Manager — and sometimes Manager — of a very successful hair salon.
As Chair of Programs and Benefits, Diane is responsible for existing programs like the Expert Speaker Series, Monthly Round Table, and Master Mind Group Matching Service and for the development of new programs to benefit the members of the ACO. Check out the list current list of programs and stay tuned. She has a number of great initiatives under way that you’ll want to take advantage of.
So we welcome these two enthusiastic and dedicated new board members. If you have any ideas regarding Marketing, PR, Programs, or Benefits, they will be happy to hear from you. You can reach Gayla at email@example.com and Diane at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All my best,
President, ADHD Coaches Organization, Inc.
